WHAT IS OSTEOSTRONG?
A Unique System For Strengthening Bones, Joints & Muscles
Osteogenic loading sessions occur weekly on a 4-device circuit, with each session requiring just 10-15 minutes for completion. Our friendly coaches guide members through controlled movements on each device, stimulating the central nervous system to initiate osteogenesis, which is the promotion of new bone growth.
The devices employed are equipped with sensors offering instant feedback, precisely measuring the force exerted in pounds and multiples of the user’s body weight. This real-time data is crucial for determining which specific osteogenic triggers have been activated during each session.
Furthermore, a meticulous record of this data is maintained and compiled into a comprehensive report. Following each session, members receive an email containing a detailed overview of their progress and the specific osteogenic triggers achieved. This feedback and tracking system empowers members to effectively monitor and assess their bone growth journey.

OsteoStrong works for people of all ages and impacts the entire body in many ways using a process called osteogenic loading. The basis of osteogenic loading stems from Wolff’s Law, and reveals that force or loading on the bone through its axis triggers the bone’s natural function to increase density. Research indicates that higher loading on bones stimulates a more robust response, growing bones denser than before. Traditionally associated with high-impact activities, these intense yet effective bone-loading levels on our Spectrum devices are practical for weekly use and have less risk of injury potential compared to obtaining these forces via high impact activities.
Osteogenic loading has a positive overall effect on our bodies. By stimulating regrowth inside of our bones, we get the sweeping benefits of increased white blood cell production, which strengthens our immune system, as well as a reduction of A1C (stabilized blood glucose), increased production of HGH, and many other significant benefits.

In just 10 minutes a week, members increase bone density, improve posture, enhance balance, and elevate their athletic performance. Conveniently nestled in Midtown Anchorage, our facility welcomes showing up in your street clothes – no sweat required. OsteoStrong promises an unparalleled experience unlike anything you’ve encountered before.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND OSTEOSTRONG
OsteoStrong sessions utilize a range of specialized devices designed to apply axial compression to bones, replicating the effects of impact, a phenomenon referred to as osteogenic loading. Thanks to the precise positioning of the human body during these sessions, the applied loading forces far exceed those encountered in typical daily activities or standard weight training routines. It’s worth noting that the concept of heavy loading is well-established and endorsed by international medical education organizations, and at OsteoStrong, we prioritize safety while delivering these benefits.
In fact, the efficacy of osteogenic loading has been recognized for over a century. Dr. Julius Wolff’s groundbreaking work in the late 1800s uncovered the principle that bones adapt to the forces they experience, known as Wolff’s Law. What remained unclear until the 2012 Deere & Tobias study (see link below) was the minimum threshold required to trigger osteogenesis. It was discovered that a minimum force equivalent to 4.2 times one’s body weight is necessary to stimulate bone growth in the hip joint, a critical area for fracture prevention. This threshold stands in stark contrast to conventional resistance exercise among adults, which typically generates peak forces ranging from just 1.26 to 1.54 times their body weight. At OsteoStrong, we focus on surpassing this crucial threshold to ensure optimal bone health and strength, particularly in areas prone to fractures like the hip joint.

**No physical exercise is 100% safe, and neither is OsteoStrong. OsteoStrong provides a unique way to emulate a high impact load of force to achieve osteogenic loading, without the high impact. While not 100% safe, OsteoStrong is significantly safer than attempting high impact force. OsteoStrong members have reported improved bone density, improved balance, improved strength, reduced joint pain, and reduced HbA1c. Results may vary. Consult your physician.
