Dr. ZachARY  Bauman

Dr. Zachary Bauman is a board-certified general surgeon with specialized training in Surgical Critical Care and Trauma and Acute Care Surgery. A graduate of Des Moines University with both a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration, Dr. Bauman also holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Nebraska. With extensive fellowship training and over a decade of clinical experience, he is recognized internationally for his expertise in chest wall injury and rib fracture stabilization. Dr. Bauman is a frequent keynote speaker, published author, and serves in editorial and leadership roles for several surgical societies and journals. His commitment to advancing trauma care is reflected through research, teaching, and participation on national and international committees.

What really brought Dr. Bauman to OsteoStrong? His mom! After seeing how the program boosted her health and energy, Dr. Bauman knew he had to help bring those same benefits to the Omaha community. Now, he’s on a mission to help others build strength and live better—one session at a time!

Ben Zitek

Ben Zitek is a high-energy leader, coach, and community builder who’s spent over 15 years helping people and organizations thrive. With a Psychology degree and MBA from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, Ben blends people smarts with business savvy.  As a consulting firm senior leader, he teaches talent and culture development, coaches executives, and guides teams in unlocking their full potential. Based in Omaha with his wife and three kids, Ben fuels his days with youth sports coaching, obstacle course racing, and a deep love for developing tomorrow’s leaders. He’s passionate about health and wellness, and is looking forward to supporting others in improving their overall longevity.

Sharon Comstock

Meet Sharon Comstock—a powerhouse of clinical know-how and business savvy! With years of experience leading teams, managing clinics, and growing programs at places like Therapy Works of Nebraska and the University of Nebraska College of Law, she knows how to get things done. She’s got a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and a business degree with a marketing and management twist.

Sharon began her own wellness journey last year after being diagnosed with osteopenia. Now she’s fired up to build stronger bones—and to help others do the same at OsteoStrong!
