Lori came on board to OsteoStrong as a Session Coach March 2021, and became the Center Director July 2022 Originally from California, raised in Dallas, and now a true Floridian for 30 years, Lori’s background in Physical Therapy Management, and Chiropractic care has now brought her to this amazing journey to help change lives! Lori enjoys painting, music, art festivals, spending time with her daughter, and Malti-poo Buddy.

Sandy, also a founding member back in 2019, spent most of her working years focused on administrative work in the construction field and financial industry. After retiring from the “rat race” in 2022, she was offered a front desk position at OsteoStrong and really enjoys the positive upbeat atmosphere along with the opportunity to help such a wide variety of people. Sandy says “Aside from work, my passions are visiting New York, photography, and our beautiful butterfly garden.”

Lead Session Coach
Tom is a founding member of the OsteoStrong Lake Mary location, and physical fitness has always been a true passion of his. ACE Certified in personal training as well as X3 Bar Variable Resistance Training experience offered at OsteoStrong. A Coast Guard Veteran and serving 34 years at the Postal Service, and originally from New York, Tom retired in December 2022, and became certified as an OsteoStrong Coach. Tom says, “I find true happiness in helping others, and I enjoy assisting members achieve their goals.”

After struggling with osteoporosis since my late 30s, my journey with medications was long and arduous. The side effects from the medications, including persistent ear infections and even spontaneous bleeding, were unbearable. My condition never improved with these treatments, and the doctors warned me of potential spontaneous fractures if I stopped the medication.
However, everything changed in March 2023. I had to discontinue the medications due to osteonecrosis in my ears, a complication from the drugs. With my health options seemingly narrowing and my lifestyle impacted by family circumstances, the only consistent practice I maintained were my weekly sessions at OsteoStrong.
To my astonishment, during a routine check in December 2023, my endocrinologist revealed that my bone density had significantly improved since I stopped taking the medications and started focusing solely on OsteoStrong. My right hip’s density increased by 13%, left hip by 8%, and spine by 11% – improvements I never experienced during the years on prescription drugs.
