Mahesh Raghavan
Mahesh Raghavan is a corporate and start-up advisor specializing in digital business strategy, AI-enabled customer engagement, data-driven marketing, innovation, commercial viability, value realization, and digital product development. With more than 25 years of experience working alongside C-suite leaders at Fortune 500 companies and start-up founders, he brings a rare blend of perspectives. Trained as a technologist, equipped with an MBA, and certified as a Design Thinking coach, Mahesh integrates business rigor, human-centered approach, and technical depth to shape growth strategies for his clients. He now applies same rigor to creating a thoughtful, member-focused, evidence-based experience at OsteoStrong Tysons.
Mahesh’s personal relationship with fitness has taken a winding path. Athletic in his school years, he represented his high school in multiple sports, but as his career advanced, fitness gradually moved to the sidelines. Injuries to his shoulder and ankles added further setbacks. The birth of his son became a turning point, Mahesh found himself feeling older than he liked, especially next to his wife, whom he says looks “forever 21.” These got Mahesh back into a fitness routine. In December 2023, he challenged himself by hiking the snow-covered Mt. Snezka, the tallest peak in Poland, wearing only shorts and boots in freezing temperatures.
New injuries began slowing his routine again, prompting him to search for smarter and safer approaches to strength and longevity. This search led him to Tony Robbins’ book Life Force, where he first learned about OsteoStrong. The science backed, low-impact system for improving bone density immediately resonated with him, especially because it serves everyone from elite athletes to seniors managing osteoporosis. He searched for a center near Washington, D.C., only to find none available.
So, he decided to open one.
Motivated by own his journey and a desire to bring this innovative system to others, Mahesh is now excited to serve residents across the D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia (DMV) area, helping them improve their bone and musculoskeletal strength, balance, posture, and overall fitness. While Mahesh is not a healthcare provider, driven by his “human-centered approach” he sees his role as making proven, data-driven, evidence-based wellness tools accessible to the local community and creating a trusted environment where people can take proactive ownership of their long-term strength and vitality.
